Golden Nuggets: 49ers extend Jeremy Kerley

Sunday, March 5th, 2017 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of San Francisco 49ers links from around the Internet.

The San Francisco 49ers signed wide receiver Jeremy Kerley to a three-year contract extension, and it’s certainly a move that makes sense. Kerley isn’t going to blow anybody away but in the right offense he can find success. At the very least, he’s a cheap, efficient solution as the 49ers look to solve more pressing issues — like the one at quarterback.

I have some thoughts about the quarterback position and what the 49ers should be looking at going forward and I plan to post those thoughts in the near future. Personally, I see a lot of people talking about the “trap” of taking a quarterback too early and I think it’s a silly notion. We’ll have more on that later.

For now, we’re going to dive right into your links for the day. Enjoy, folks.
