The draft is near, less than a week away and yet it feels like it might as well be years. My patience is growing thinner than the toilet paper at a motel six. Listening to people talk about how every player that is thought to be a top ten pick is a mega-bust waiting to happen or how we should get first round picks for life in exchange for our number two pick in this year’s draft has completely become unbearable. I think I have heard every argument for and against every player that could possibly go in the first three rounds at least twenty times too many. I think I have heard at least three different opinions from what seems like every sports writer in America. The draft can’t come soon enough.
Anyone interested in seeing my seven round mock draft? I didn’t think so. Anyone really want to know with what team I think we should trade our number two pick or what I think we should get in return? Don’t worry, I am not taking it personally, I know everyone else is getting as tired of mock drafts and potential trade situations as I am.
On that note, maybe we should move on to the sizzling hot links.
