The San Francisco 49ers have been trying to move down from the No. 2 pick, with a host of rumors flying left and right. We haven’t heard much in the way of specifics, but Peter Schrager and Matt Maiocco both have some new information. According to Schrager, the 49ers have received calls from three teams in the top ten looking to trade up.
49ers have received calls to discuss a trade for the number 2 pick, including discussions with 3 of the top 10 teams in this Draft.

Maiocco followed that report with his own that the 49ers have talked to three top ten teams and also three teams outside the top ten.
The most specific rumor we heard prior to this week was that the Carolina Panthers were interested in potentially moving up from No. 8 to get Leonard Fournette. Other than that, you could probably find a player each team is targeting that they think could go before they get a shot. Maybe the New York Jets or Jacksonville Jaguars decide they need a QB before the Bears are on the board?
On the other hand, other than the Browns, who might be ready to move up that far? Maybe the Cardinals reaaaaaally want to find Carson Palmer’s replacement?
