2017 NFL draft: Best available players after first round

The 49ers don’t pick for a little bit on day two, but there are some really interesting options.

The 2017 NFL draft is a wrap, and the San Francisco 49ers walked away with a pair of big picks. They traded down with the Chicago Bears at No. 3 and selected Stanford defensive end Solomon Thomas. They got a fourth round pick and two third round picks in that deal. They then used the fourth to move up from No. 34 to No. 31, where they drafted Alabama linebacker Reuben Foster.

It was a strong day’s work for John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan, but there is a lot of work left to do. The 49ers do not have a second round pick, but they have the first two picks of the third round. They might still move up with one of those picks, but for now, they have two big opportunities to add more impact players.

Following the first round, here is a look at some of the best players still on SB Nation’s board. We’ve got a list of 68 players, so plenty that could be there when the 49ers come up in round three.
