The San Francisco 49ers have likely made their final pick of the 2017 NFL draft. With their seventh round pick, the 49ers selected Miami (FL) cornerback Adrian Colbert. The team could move back into the seventh round for a future pick, but it seems unlikely.
Colbert stands 6’0 and weighs 200 pounds. The 49ers drafted cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon earlier in the draft to compete for a starting role. I don’t know much of anything about Colbert, but I did come across this video Mike Mayock tweeted, showing him making some big hits on defense. It’s safe to say he’ll have to impress on special teams to have a shot at making the roster. This is helpful.
Was doing tape on 2 Miami DBs when a 3rd guy made himself known..don't know if Adrian Colbert can play- but will find out ! 3 big hits at CB pic.twitter.com/BU3YxCAdC2
