The San Francisco 49ers are in the process of meeting with a variety of players, whether it be individual workouts or official pre-draft visits. The team is allowed a maximum of 30 official visits, but can travel to work out as many players as they can manage.
We will not learn the facts on all 30 official visits, but we will cover what we can. I’ll probably add private workouts as well, but for now I wanted to just add the official visits. It is also worth noting, the team will host a local Pro Day on April 12. The 49ers can invite anybody who attended college in the Bay Area, as well as anybody who attended high school in the Bay Area, even if they ended up in college elsewhere.
Here is a list we will update as more information comes in. We are seeing a healthy mix on both sides of the ball, although it’s interesting that we have not seen any wide receivers as of this initial publishing. That doesn’t meant the 49ers won’t invest a high pick in the position. The 49ers have visited with players they have spent picks on, but they have also drafted players early that had limited interactions with the team.
