49ers OTAs practice session, May 31: Live updates, press conference stream

New, comments

The 49ers are into their second week of OTAs. That means more media availability and practice recaps.

The San Francisco 49ers are back at practice this week in their second set of OTAs. They had a session on Tuesday, and will have one more on Friday. They wrap up OTAs next week, and then have their mandatory minicamp the week after that.

Wednesday marks their second open OTA of the workout program. That again means practice reports and some player availability. Last week, we heard from head coach Kyle Shanahan. This week, defensive coordinator Robert Saleh will meet with the media.

Practice just wrapped up after an hour and a half session. That will be followed by Saleh meeting the media at approximately 2 p.m. PT, and then defensive position coaches and player availability after that. The 49ers will likely stream Saleh’s press conference live here.

The 49ers beat writers will also have updates from the press conference and practice. I’ve embedded our beat writer Twitter list so you can follow along. They can’t tweet from the practice field, but there are plenty of tweets now that practice is finished. Jennifer Chan and Tracy Sandler are on hand all day, and will have plenty to tweet about. We’ll also have a transcript for Saleh’s press conference later today.
