One week ago, the 2017 NFL draft got started, and the San Francisco 49ers had themselves a busy Thursday. They traded down from No. 2 to No. 3, and still managed to get the guy they wanted, Stanford defensive end Solomon Thomas, while picking up two third round picks and a fourth round pick. They followed that up by moving up from their second round pick to land Alabama linebacker Reuben Foster at the end of the first round.
The 49ers Studios crew was there for all the action, and they’ve unveiled a fun video showing some highlights from the day. We get a look inside the draft room, the arrivals of Solomon Thomas and Reuben Foster, and plenty more. The most intriguing thing might be the fact that the 49ers camera crew and coaches got to go past TSA to meet Reuben Foster at his gate at SFO.
It’s a fun watch if you’ve got a few minutes to spare.
