There is an interesting article about Jeremy Kerley below. I would argue that Kerley’s best year was in 2012 when Kerley had 827 yards receiving but last year was a pretty good year for him too. Between Kerley, Goodwin, Garcon and Taylor, I have a feeling our wide receivers are going to be better than most people think. I don’t expect any of them to make the pro bowl but I think they may surprise people on how well they do as a group.
With training camp opening in five weeks, I keep repeating the same thing, I mainly do not care which players make the team, I am just happy with the competition. We may not have all pros at every position but we have some real competition for a change and I personally find that exciting.
That brings up another article posted below about our realistic win totals. It is my opinion that if you are being realistic you wouldn’t be even buying into win totals at this point in time. It is way too early to have any idea what we have with this team other than they probably are not a playoff contender. I think Lynch and Shanahan did a really nice job of transforming the 49ers roster into a team they can work with.
