Golden Nuggets: Buying what Kyle Shanahan is selling

Sunday, June 25, 2017 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of San Francisco 49ers links from around the Internet.

Good morning everyone. It’s another edition of the Golden Nuggets and I’m a year older as of two days ago. I’m not a year wiser though, as it happens, because I actually felt positive thoughts about the San Francisco 49ers before writing this article.

Those positive thoughts primarily surround Kyle Shanahan — I’m buying what he’s selling. I also feel good about a lot of the young players on the roster this season. But I know that confidence I have is as fragile as the 49ers actually are right now. I believe Shanahan will be a good coach, but if he isn’t fit for the job, it will set the 49ers back for many years.

Let’s hope that’s not the case, yeah? The offseason continues and the season approaches. Let’s get onto your links.
