Good morning everyone. Things are moving along for the San Francisco 49ers, with the only important news at the moment not actually pertaining to them but rather the potential for them to be involved. The Kansas City Chiefs released wide receiver Jeremy Maclin after two seasons with the team, and that has everyone buzzing about where he could end up.
Of course, the 49ers also recently stated that they’d spend every dollar of their available salary cap — an obvious lie, but if they’re at all serious in spending big, Maclin would certainly be a splashy pickup.
Kyle Shanahan has his 2017 offense, and now it’s time to see if it works or does not. Maclin probably fits well in that offense, but I doubt he is interested in joining the 49ers either way. Let’s get on to your links.
