It’s the offseason and many of the players have been on social media sharing their workouts and vacations. San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Marquise Goodwin has a lot of character and it is exemplified on his social media accounts. He has had a pretty busy offseason so far, traveling to the Bahamas, swimming with sharks and feeding pigs, and more recently visiting Egypt. A familiar face showed up on Goodwin’s Instagram pictures in the Middle East: former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
Both Goodwin and Kaepernick went on guided tours in Edfu and Aswan, Egypt while dressed in traditional clothing. The two can be seen at the Temple of Philae in Aswan and the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Below are your links to be able to see both. You can scroll through the pictures by clicking on the arrow.
Below are a few screen shots from Goodwin’s Instagram story, which like Snapchat, only lasts for 24 hours. It’s kind of fun to “tag along” their travels. Egypt has always been on my bucket list, but I worry a little bit about it being safe enough to travel there. How about you?
One of the more entertaining moments on Goodwin’s IG story was him saying Kaepernick was looking like a young Jesus in his outfit (He just needs sandals).
