Earlier today, we reported on Josh Robinson telling a Mississippi TV station that he was going to be joining the San Francisco 49ers. Turns out the TV station was a little confused. NBC Sports Bay Area reporter Matt Maiocco confirmed with Robinson’s agent that the running back is actually coming to the Bay Area to compete in the new Spring League’s latest showcase.
The Spring League is building towards a 2018 season, but in the meantime, they are set to have their second showcase of potential NFL players. They had a series of practices and a game in West Virginia earlier this year. They are following that up with a showcase game in Napa.
Robinson is headed to that game to show off for NFL scouts that will potentially attend. Other notable players will include Fred Jackson, Greg Hardy, and a player near and dear to our hearts, Anthony Dixon!

The game is scheduled for this coming Saturday, July 15 at Memorial Stadium in Napa. Ticket prices range from $35 to $150, with kids 10 and under getting in free. You can buy tickets here.
