Who is your favorite rookie? News is a little slow so I thought I would throw a little something out there to liven things up a bit. I like a lot of the rookies and it is a very hard decision but I think I am going to go with Joe Williams. It would have been easy for me to pick Solomon Thomas or Reuben Foster. Thomas should tear it up inside and Foster is going to be an amazing addition to our linebacker group. Ahkello Witherspoon is also one of my favorites and I think he is going to get involved in the defense much sooner than people think.
George Kittle would be an easy choice on offense. He was showing a lot of good things during the OTAs. I would not be surprised at all to see Trent Taylor catch a couple of passes in his first game as a pro. I don't think I have ever been this high on so many rookies.
I had a draft crush on Joe Williams starting back in January. I don't know how many times I would get bored with watching other potential draft pick's tape and find myself back watching Williams. The speed he hit those holes while doing his little motion that kind of reminds me of a car fishtailing was exciting and I was pretty sure we could get him in the fourth round. You can only imagine how excited I was when we actually picked him in the fourth.
I can't wait to watch him breaking long runs and catching passes out in space. It may take him a few games to get use to the speed of the NFL but once he gets his confidence look out.
