Brian Hoyer to appear on ESPN’s NFL Live for 90 minutes

Kirk Cousins’ contract will be a topic for NFL Live. Will Hoyer offer some thoughts?

Today is a big day for NFL discussion with the franchise tag deadline passing at 1 p.m. PT, and Dave Gettleman just getting fired. ESPN’s NFL Live will have a lot to discuss, and it turns out they’re going to have San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brian Hoyer on the program throughout!

I am not sure why they are having him on for the full 90 minutes, but for a slow period of 49ers news, I’ll take it.

This is actually kind of randomly interesting given some of the topics being discussed. The franchise tag deadline means there will be plenty of Kirk Cousins chatter. He is not the only player looking for a new deal as the deadline approaches, but he is arguably the most high profile. And given his connection to Kyle Shanahan and the regular rumors that he will end up in Santa Clara, what would Brian Hoyer have to say about the matter?

The show is scheduled to run 90 minutes. We can’t live stream it, but I’ll keep an eye out for whatever interesting things Hoyer might have to say during the show. Feel free to chat away in the comments.
