Golden Nuggets: Training Camp is here (finally)!

Your San Francisco 49ers links for Saturday, July 29th, 2017

Finally! Football has come back to America. We had some training camps, we had some signings, and we have football back! My life is getting better.

So Solomon Thomas has signed with the 49ers. Again...FINALLY! Get him on the field. And then Reuban Foster hit the field...FINALLY—and got a pick-6 out of it.

Not so finally, Eric Reid still doesn’t have a contract extension and no one has really talked to him about it. Uh-oh. Let’s see how he does this year before we jump to any conclusions. He’ll get signed if he proves he was a product of bad coaching the last couple years.

The one thing that stuck out to me? That hill. That damn hill the 49ers built for conditioning. I remember when Mike Singletary had some sort of hill of death he had the team working on when he was coaching. I can’t fathom this thing being any better. Sure, watching Jed York run up it seems like good fun, but there’s all sorts of options they can use. I’m pretty sure handcuffing a Buick Skylark to your neck and having you run up it is one of the many conditioning tests this team will have. I want no part of that hill. *shiver*

Ugh, I’m glad I’m not running up that thing.
