Golden Nuggets: 49ers training camp begins and all is right in the world

Sunday, July 30, 2017 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of San Francisco 49ers links from around the Internet.

Good morning everyone. The San Francisco 49ers have now been at training camp for a couple days and there are a lot of encouraging things coming out. That’s to be expected, but it has at least been good to hear that Brian Hoyer has something of a command of the offense, given the struggles that Blaine Gabbert and Colin Kaepernick had learning the system a year ago.

That doesn’t guarantee big things out of Hoyer by any means. Understanding and grasping the offense sooner rather than later gives plenty of time to improve, if there is room for improvement.

Either way, I won’t get to see the next couple days of news and practice as I’m taking my first vacation in years. Ya’ll be nice for Fooch while I’m away for the next few days, and try not to burn down the website, mmkay? Let’s get to your links on the day.
