Through out the entire draft process I was jumping up and down for Mile Williams. "We need a dominate WR" I said over and over again. Sure his injury concerns were pointed out to me, but I thought he was a can't-miss prospect that we just needed on the team. Why would we need another D-Lineman?
Well, reports out of Chargers camp is that he will likely miss his first season with a back injury.
Now, this does not mean that he won't turn into a great pro at some point, but I just wanted to say "you were right" to everyone that was concerned about his injury history.
So this is my apology letter.
I would like to see him be a dominant WR in the future so I can brag about being right, but for the time being, I'll admit that he would not have been the best draft pick.
