A former 49er has passed away. Punter Max Runager passed away at the age of 61 on Sunday. Max played 11 seasons in the NFL, 4 of those with the 49ers. He helped the 1984 team win the Super Bowl. That team went 15-1 and beat the Miami Dolphins in the Super Bowl. He passed away in his car, but it is reported that there was no foul play involved.
New receiver Marquise Goodwin is currently having a great time traveling the globe. Last week, he was in the Bahamas swimming with sharks and pigs. This week, he is in Egypt with former 49er quarterback Colin Kaepernick. According to Goodwin’s Instagram account, the 2 are taking guided tours around the country and visiting temples. There is no timeline on when they will return to the country. Colin currently remains unsigned.
Happy 4th of July!
