If only I could get into baseball. Which I can’t. We officially have hit a drought in football land. Nothing much has happened again. So I figured I’d take a blast from the past.
Fooch dug up this really good Sports Illustrated Bill Walsh article from around the time he [Walsh] passed away. After reading it, I couldn’t help but shake my head when Jim Harbaugh’s name was mentioned. It was like a twisting of the knife of all the events that happened. I’m not saying I was a fan of Jim Harbaugh, and I’m not saying I wanted him kicked off the team, but the guy could flat out coach and was a helluva lot better than what the 49ers were stuck with after.
After reading, I decided to see what other articles I could find. The Bill Walsh article was featured in a sort of a “relaunch” from SI’s vault. I found something on Roger Craig. interesting piece. Short, but it brings back memories.
Enough on reminiscing. Here’s some links.
