If you thought earlier in the offseason that things couldn’t get any slower: welcome to this exact moment. The San Francisco 49ers have had virtually no news of significance in some time, which ultimately is a good thing. The 49ers of the past few years were constantly embroiled in front office nonsense and leaks, leaks, leaks.
Now, the 49ers are doing what they’re supposed to be doing: staying out of trouble, learning playbooks, preparing for training camp and all the things that a successful — heck, a normal — NFL team is supposed to be doing in early July. Things will pick up with training camp.
That training camp is set to begin on or around July 28, with rookies and veterans officially set to report the day prior, on Thursday. For now, the links for these Golden Nuggets will be few and far between. If you come across something I’ve missed, post it in the comments because — believe it or not — some folks do actually get their news here.
Enjoy.
