The Arizona Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys kick off the 2017 preseason schedule this Thursday when they square off in the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio. The first preseason game features very little of the starters, and this year’s Hall of Fame Game will be no different.
Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians announced that no starters will play this Thursday. Arians also said backup quarterback Drew Stanton will not play in this first preseason game. That means third string quarterback Blaine Gabbert will get the HOF game start.
Arians: No starters will play Thursday against Cowboys. Neither will Drew Stanton or Tramon Williams. Gabbert QB 1st half, Knight 2nd.

I normally don’t watch the entire Hall of Fame Game, and in some seasons, I might only watch a few snaps. It is helpful background noise while I’m doing whatever else. But with Gabbert playing substantial snaps in this game, I’m pretty sure I’m obligated to watch his half of the game at least.
How much of the Hall of Fame Game will you watch on Thursday?
