NFL Network to re-air 49ers-Chiefs game three times over the next week

If you really want to watch 49ers-Chiefs, you’ll have four chances!

The San Francisco 49ers face the Kansas City Chiefs in their preseason opener on Friday. The game is scheduled to kick off at 6 p.m. PT, and will be broadcast on local channels in the Bay Area and Kansas City. However, there will be two opportunities to watch the game on NFL Network.

The game gets going at 6 p.m., and NFL Network is going to join the game in progress, an hour in at 7 p.m. PT. If you have NFL Network outside the Bay Area, it’s not perfect, but it is certainly better than no part of the game being broadcast.

If you miss the game, NFL Network will re-air it in its entirety three times. The first re-broadcast will get going at 11:30 a.m. PT on Saturday. That will be followed by a re-broadcast on Sunday at 8:30 p.m., and then on Tuesday, August 15 at 1 a.m. If you are desperate to re-watch the game, you’ll have plenty of opportunities.
