49ers training camp live updates for Tuesday, August 29: Press conferences, live stream, & more

The 49ers have one day of media availability before their final preseason game. Follow along here for updates.

The San Francisco 49ers are back at practice on Tuesday as part of a short week of preparation for their preseason finale. The 49ers host the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday to close out the August preseason schedule.

Defensive coordinator Robert Saleh will meet with the media at 1:15 p.m. PT, and that will be followed by locker room availability until 2:05 p.m. The team will then hit the practice field at 2:15 p.m.

Practice will be open to the media for individual drills, but then closed to the media for team drills. The 49ers will stream Salah’s press conference on their website, and you can also watch it on Periscope and the team’s app. The team dealt tight end Vance McDonald on Tuesday, but with Kyle Shanahan not meeting with the media prior to Thursday’s game, we won’t get formal comments from Shanahan on this until after the Chargers game.

The 49ers beat writers will also have updates from the coach and player media sessions. I’ve embedded our 49ers beat writer Twitter list so you can follow along.
