49ers injury report: Eric Reid returning to full practice, DeForest Buckner listed as day-to-day

The 49ers released their pre-practice injury report. Some good news, some bad news, and some middle news.

The San Francisco 49ers will be back at practice Thursday at 10:15 a.m., and the now regular pre-practice injury report brings some good news. Safety Eric Reid, who suffered an ankle sprain this past weekend will return to the practice field. He missed Monday’s practice, and only took part in individual drills on Wednesday.

Defensive tackle DeForest Buckner injured his ankle on Wednesday, and he will miss practice while being listed as day-to-day. Tight end George Kittle will participate only in individual drills for a second straight day. He will be joined by cornerback Keith Reaser, who missed all of practice on Wednesday.

Jaquiski Tartt remains day-to-day with his rib injury, but on a negative note, Eli Harold changed from day-to-day to out with a concussion. He will go through the concussion protocol, which means being asymptomatic at rest and then after exertion.

NaVorro Bowman, Pierre Garçon, Joe Staley, and Jeremy Zuttah are getting a veteran’s day off.
