49ers practice participation report: Keith Reaser off injury list, Joshua Garnett added

Some good news and bad news on the Saturday pre-practice report.

The San Francisco 49ers released their practice participation report for Saturday’s open session at Levi’s Stadium, and there are a few notable names to consider.

The bad news is that offensive guard Joshua Garnett is out for the day with a knee injury. He was not given a day-to-day designation, so we’ll have to wait and see what Kyle Shanahan has to say after practice. The 49ers have Sunday off from practice, so hopefully it is simply precautionary.

There is some good news though. Cornerback Keith Reaser is off the report, and back to full participation in practice. Defensive tackle DeForest Buckner has been upgraded from day-to-day to getting a chance at individual drills. Jaquiski Tartt remains day-to-day with his rib injury. Eli Harold remains out with a concussion. George Kittle and Donavin Newsom are doing individual drills.
