49ers injury report: DeForest Buckner, George Kittle return to practice

The 49ers got some good news on their latest practice report.

The San Francisco 49ers released their pre-practice participation report for Monday, August 7, and there is some good news to report. Defensive tackle DeForest Buckner and tight end George Kittle have both been removed from the report, and are expected to be full participants in practice. Buckner was dealing with an ankle injury, while Kittle had a hamstring issue.

Running back Tim Hightower was added to the list with a knee injury, and is listed as day-to-day. He joins defensive back Adrian Colbert and safety Jaquiski Tartt on the day-to-day list. Tartt has been dealing with a rib injury, but he now apparently also has an illness added to it.

Joshua Garnett remains out with his knee injury. Kyle Shanahan is not meeting with the media today, but will be availability on Tuesday. I imagine he’ll have more to report on Garnett’s knee at that point. Matt Barrows was on KNBR this morning, and he said Garnett was getting it looked at today.
