The San Francisco 49ers laid an egg in their regular season opener against the Carolina Panthers, and we’ll have plenty to say about that. However, there is more football tonight if you’re looking to forget the 49ers game. The Dallas Cowboys host the New York Giants in the first Sunday Night Football game of 2017. The game kicks off at 5:30 p.m. PT with Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth, and Michele Tafoya on the call.

The Cowboys will have Ezekiel Elliott on hand while he awaits the outcome of his lawsuit against the NFL. He was suspended six games. The NFL was set to let him start it in Week 2, but he filed for a temporary restraining order, and will now play until the case is settled.

The Giants will be without wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who is dealing with an ankle injury. He got a workout in before the game, but he’s unable to go.
