We have one more night of football to wrap up Week 1, and it’s a busy night. The first week of Monday Night Football features the traditional double-header. This year we get the Minnesota Vikings hosting the New Orleans Saints, and the Denver Broncos hosting the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Vikings are opening their new stadium with a pair of slightly notable guests. They will be inducting Randy Moss into their Ring of Honor before the game. Then, during the game, Adrian Peterson plays his first game for the Saints in his old town. Emotions should be just a little bit charged for this game.
The Chargers head into Denver to face a Broncos team hoping Trevor Siemian can be the answer at quarterback. Paxton Lynch has not worked out, and they don’t really have a whole lot else going on. They still have a very stout defense, but if they can’t get consistent QB play, it won’t matter.
I have the Vikings and Chargers covering the spread in the respective games.
