NFL Week 2 TV schedule: Which non-49ers game are you watching?

New, comments

The San Francisco 49ers will play the Seattle Seahawks in the afternoon slate of games for Week 2 on Sunday. But with no bye weeks, there are plenty of early games worth checking out if you are still feeling particularly football starved after a single week of games.

Not all of those morning games are good, of course ... in fact, looking at it now, a lot of them look pretty bad. The highlight is either the game between the New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints or the game between the Minnesota Vikings and Pittsburgh Steelers, at least from where I’m sitting.

The Vikings are one of the more intriguing teams in the league for me right now. I feel like they were in a similar position to the Oakland Raiders just a couple seasons ago — building a fairly complete team with a young, promising quarterback.

But things went south fast, and now every week is just questioning whether or not we get bad Sam Bradford (common), average Sam Bradford (semi-common) or good Sam Bradford (rare). I think they’re an interesting team to watch progress, though Sunday’s outing against the Steelers could get ugly, admittedly.

The afternoon games have a good one as the Dallas Cowboys take on the Denver Broncos, but everyone reading this will likely be fixated on the 49ers during that time. Which game are you looking forward to? The schedule for Sunday is below.
