MLS: FC Dallas at Atlanta United FC Adam Hagy-USA TODAY Sports

The San Francisco 49ers lost their second straight game to open the season, but they put together a much more impressive performance than in Week 1. The 49ers lost 12-9 to the Seattle Seahawks, falling short after Russell Wilson put together a ridiculous touchdown throw in the fourth quarter.

We’ll have plenty more to recap the game, but in the meantime, Sunday Night Football brings us a rematch of last year’s NFC Championship Game. The Atlanta Falcons open the brand new Mercedes-Benz Stadium by welcoming the Green Bay Packers. The game kicks off at 5:30 p.m. PT with Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth, and Michele Tafoya on the call.

The Falcons are a field goal favorite in this game. They barely beat the Chicago Bears last week, while the Packers defense dominated the Seahawks. Public money is leaning toward the Packers, but I’m going with the Falcons to get the victory and cover the spread.
