We’re back for Week 2 of Monday Night Football. This second week closes out with the New York Giants hosting the Detroit Lions at MetLife Stadium. ESPN has the game at 5:30 p.m. PT, with Sean McDonough and Jon Gruden in the booth, and Lisa Salters on the sideline.

The Giants looked pretty bad last week, with their offensive line looking like a mess. Odell Beckham Jr. is active after being a day-of-game decision. On the other side, the Lions had a big comeback win over the Arizona Cardinals, with Matthew Stafford putting together a heck of a fourth quarter.

The Giants are a field goal favorite, which has plenty of folks better on the Lions to cover. The line seems a little too juicy after last week, which suggests to me that odds-makers want to push the Lions bet a bit. When a line seems a little off, there’s usually a reason. I’m taking the Giants to cover in this one.
