The San Francisco 49ers released their final injury report for Week 3 Thursday Night Football, and it includes one surprise. Outside linebacker Eli Harold is a late addition to the report, listed as limited with a foot injury. The 49ers held a walkthrough on Wednesday, so the practice participation report is an estimation. Harold was not on the report Monday or Tuesday.
The safety position is the big one to watch. Eric Reid has been ruled out with his PCL injury, and Jaquiski Tartt is questionable with a neck injury. Tartt was a DNP in the estimated Monday report, and then listed as limited the past two days. If he cannot play, Lorenzo Jerome and Adrian Colbert would compete for his spot. However, given this tweet, it seems like Tartt feels good to go for Thursday.
Jimmie Ward was limited in practice all week, but the fact that he was not listed as a DNP in Monday’s simulated report is probably a good sign for his hamstring. Here’s the full injury report for Thursday Night Football.
Out: LB Reuben Foster (ankle - DNP, DNP, DNP), S Eric Reid (knee - DNP, DNP, DNP)
Questionable: LB Eli Harold (foot - N/A, N/A, Limited), TE George Kittle (hip - DNP, Limited, Limited), S Jaquiski Tartt (neck - DNP, Limited, Limited), S Jimmie Ward (hamstring - Limited, Limited, Limited)
