The San Francisco 49ers are back at the facility getting ready for Week 4 of the 2017 regular season. The 49ers played the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday Night Football, which meant they got a three-day respite following the game. They have been busy getting ready, and Wednesday marks the start of the regularly scheduled practices.

The 49ers travel to face the Arizona Cardinals this weekend, and are a touchdown underdog. Arizona is 1-2 and stumbling along. They looked like they might give Dallas trouble this past weekend, but it’s pretty clear Arizona is not a good team. They are rightfully favored at home against the 49ers, but I think San Francisco could give them some trouble.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan will meet with the media Wednesday afternoon at 12:25 p.m. PT to get things going. There will be plenty of injury updates, and I imagine he’ll get a question or two about the big upcoming road trip. Following Shanahan’s press conference, the 49ers locker room will be open until 1:15, with quarterback Brian Hoyer and safety Eric Reid among those meeting with the media. Normally it’s the QB and everybody else, but given Reid’s protest, it is not surprising he will get some air time. Practice gets going at 1:25, with it open to the media until team drills begin.

The 49ers will stream Shanahan’s press conference on their website, and you can also watch it on Periscope and the team’s app. The 49ers beat writers will also have updates from Shanahan’s session and those of the players. I’ve embedded our 49ers beat writer Twitter list so you can follow along. If you don’t see it, click here.
