Arizona Cardinals sign Andy Lee, reunite him with Phil Dawson

The San Francisco 49ers special team band is getting back together in the desert! The Arizona Cardinals announced on Monday that they have signed punter Andy Lee to a two-year contract. Lee was released by the Carolina Panthers this weekend in a cost-cutting move.

Lee spent part of last season on injured reserve with a hamstring injury, and will look to bounce back with an old friend. The Cardinals signed Phil Dawson this offseason, and so we get a bit of a 49ers reunion. The two ex-49ers will face their former team in Week 4 and Week 9.
