The San Francisco 49ers are officially into their first game week, continuing their preparations for the Carolina Panthers. The teams square off this Sunday at 1:25 p.m. In the meantime, they return to the practice field on Wednesday, and we’ll get our first practice participation report of the season later this afternoon.

The 49ers start practice at 1:20 p.m., but it will be led off by Kyle Shanahan meeting the media at 12:15 p.m. Locker room availability will follow, including quarterback Brian Hoyer. Practice will be open to the media for individual drills, but then closed to the media for team drills.

The 49ers will stream Shanaha’s press conference on their website, and you can also watch it on Periscope and the team’s app. Hoyer’s likely will not be streamed, but we’ll have transcripts for both later today. The 49ers beat writers will also have updates from the coach and player media sessions. I’ve embedded our 49ers beat writer Twitter list so you can follow along. If you don’t see it, click here.
