New York Giants v San Francisco 49ers

If you didn’t notice, the Seattle Seahawks are blowing up the coaching staff, looking for answers as to why they missed the playoffs and got curb-stomped at home by the Los Angeles Rams. It’s simple, when your need is offensive line for the last few years, maybe you draft offensive line early? But that’s a fault of the offensive coordinator.

But really, who cares? Given that the 49ers aren’t firing anybody it’s nice to just sit back and watch this city go into chaos. I’ve lived in Seattle for just over 10 years, and I’ll admit I never got as back into football as I am until I heard about the 1-2 man every. Single. Day. With losing records like 3-7 I heard how they were going to go to the Super Bowl or just ‘wait until next year’. Now it’s all getting blown sky high as the 1-2 man is figuring out what happens next year.

I’m so glad we’re happy with the progress we’ve had with the team and the organization. Finally, it seems like ownership has stepped aside and let the football people make football decisions. Look at this coaching crop, something tells me ownership knew if they were going to hire someone, last year was the time to do it, and they were right. Plus, everything is realistic. No one is demanding/expecting a lombardi next year. Everything is realistic.

Now we can sit in our lawn chairs as the 49ers have stability and watch everything else go up in smoke.
