Case Keenum to Cardinals?

It is not a big surprise the Cardinals need a QB. After Palmer retired, Galbert played like Galbert, and Staton played like...well Staton, QB is one of the biggest needs for the Cardinals. Overall the Cardinals have a good team. They can run the ball, they have good receivers and an underrated O-Line.

Yahoo is reporting that Pat Shurmur is the front-runner for the Cardinals job. ( https://sports.yahoo.com/report-pat-shurmur-favorite-cardinals-141757905.html) Shurmur, the O-Coordinator for the Vikings, is having a lot of success with Keenum this year if you have not seen it.

Considering the success with Keenum with the Vikings, I wonder if Shurmur would take him with him to the Cardinals. I do not believe that Keenum will be back with the Vikings, so the Cardinals seem like they would be a good fit.

Sure, there is a chance that Bradford might get back into the NFC West. But for my money, give me the guy that has actually played the whole year and hasn't gotten hurt.

Thoughts? Are the Cardinals a QB away from being competitive again?

(Note: I still think the Cardinals will likely draft a QB this year.)
