The 2018 NFL playoffs return with an intriguing matchup kicking off the divisional round. The Atlanta Falcons went on the road to beat the Los Angeles Rams last weekend, and with that get to travel to face the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round. The winner of this game advances to the NFC Championship Game. Today’s game kicks off at 1:35 p.m. PT on NBC. Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth are announcing from the booth, and Michele Tafoya is reporting from the sideline.
The Eagles are a rare home divisional round underdog because of Carson Wentz’s ACL injury. This is only the fourth time since 1990 that a home team was an underdog in the divisional round. Atlanta is a field goal favorite following a strong defensive performance against the Rams. I’ve gotta stick with the Falcons getting a shot at Nick Foles, so I’ll lay the points.
