Next four NFL Draft picks known after Divisional Round

New, comments

The 49ers now know where they’re picking in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft, as well.

One more round of the NFL playoffs is in the books, which means we now know the next four spots in the 2018 NFL Draft. The Tennessee Titans own No. 25 overall, the Atlanta Falcons have No. 26, the New Orleans Saints have No. 27 and the Pittsburgh Steelers have No. 28.

The Saints’ pick is the one that matters most to us here at Niners Nation, as the San Francisco 49ers possess the New Orleans second-round pick. This means the 49ers will pick at No. 59 overall, or 27th in the second round.

San Francisco traded its own second-round pick to the New England Patriots in exchange for Jimmy Garoppolo. They would have had the No. 43 overall pick in the second round, or something close to it depending on who wins the coin toss between them and the Oakland Raiders.

The Jacksonville Jaguars, Philadelphia Eagles, Minnesota Vikings and Patriots are the only non-coin-flip teams who aren’t sure where they’re picking when the draft rolls around. Below is the first-round order as we know it.
