2018 Shrine Game week: Practice updates, analysis, discussion

New, comments

The Shrine Game practice week is underway. We’ve got a Twitter list for open discussion.

The 2018 Shrine Game takes place this Saturday in St. Petersburg, Florida, but the week leading up to it is just as important. Players are practicing all week long in preparation for the game. NFL scouts, coaches, and executives are on hand to evaluate players, and also get in meetings and interviews with the prospects. This marks the first step in the postseason 2018 NFL Draft process, following a season of player evaluation.

We’ll have a rundown of prospects to watch in Saturday’s game, but in the meantime, I thought I would put together an open thread for practice week. The weigh-in process was earlier this week, and while it is not public like the Senior Bowl, Sporting News draft analyst Eric Galko was able to hunt down much of the information.

If you think this Twitter list is missing media of note, let me know in the comments, and I’ll add them in. In the meantime, feel free to chat about the prospects on hand. You can check out all the prospects practicing this week here.
