There has been a lot of speculation about why the New England Patriots traded quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo to the San Francisco 49ers for a second round pick. There has been some suggestion that this resulted from a power struggle between Bill Belichick and Bob Kraft.
ESPN apparently is taking a deep dive into it on Friday. Boston sports media columnist Bruce Allen is reporting the world wide leader will have a “hit piece” on Bill Belichick, Bob Kraft, and Tom Brady. Noted ESPN feature writer Seth Wickersham will apparently break down a power struggle that resulted in Brady went to Kraft to force the trade.
Source: ESPN readying new hit piece on Bill Belichick, Tom Brady and Robert Kraft set to publish tomorrow morning at 8am. The topic will be a power struggle among the trio as to who deserves the most credit for the dynasty.

The article claims that the rift is so severe many Patriots feel this is the last year together for the trio. Also that Brady went to Kraft to force Belichick to trade Jimmy G. ESPN is planning a full day of promotion tomorrow for the article and its author @SethWickersham

Jason La Canfora already tweeted that we shouldn’t buy into what will be reported, so clearly there are a variety of takes getting pushed out there in advance of all this. I don’t know how it will all play out, but it’s kind of nice being on the outside looking in at this! And Patriots Twitter is going to be a disaster.
