The 49ers aren’t playing, so who are you rooting for on wildcard weekend?

On Saturday, the 2018 NFL Playoffs will get underway with the start of Wildcard Weekend. In the first game, the Tennessee Titans will travel to take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC. In the second, the Los Angeles Rams will play host to the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC.

The first game is set for 1:20 p.m. PT on ESPN and ABC, while the second is set for 5:15 p.m. PT on NBC.

Who is everyone rooting for in today’s games? The team I am picking to go all the way is the Minnesota Vikings, but they have a first-round bye and are not in action on Saturday.

In years past, I have rooted for the NFC West in the playoffs because I don’t really hate any teams in it, but I have had one too many Rams fans being annoying on my Twitter timeline, so I hope they lose to the Falcons. Hard. But there’s also the Chiefs, a team I have a soft spot for and, I’ll say it, I love Alex Smith.

I think Smith is such a good dude and an under-appreciated player. He’ll try and lead the Chiefs to a win against the Titans, a team I don’t even have an opinion about. I honestly can’t name more than a couple Titans players off the top of my head and they’ve never done anything historically significant to bug me.

At this point, I’ll be rooting for Smith, and therefore the Chiefs. What about all of you?
