Remember last year when we were wondering who would coach this team? Then when Kyle Shanahan got the hire we felt pretty good about where this was going and weren’t forcing ourselves to with Chip Kelly?

Well multiply that exponentially. I haven’t felt this good about the team since Kyle Williams fumbled away the NFC Championship game. The 49ers have the cap space, they have the quarterback no one expected this early, and now they have a draft to prepare for. Finally, I feel like they have turned things around, and dare I say it—Shanahan may be better than Jim Harbaugh in the long run. Time will tell, but we may have finally hit Episode IV: A New Hope. It only will be a matter of time until we hit Episode VI: Return of the Dynasty.
