The San Francisco 49ers have three months until the start of their offseason workout program, which gives injured and banged up players some time to get back to 100 percent for the strength and conditioning portion of the program.
Safety Adrian Colbert broke his thumb in Week 10, and after missing Week 12 follow the 49ers bye, he was back on the field the final five games to close out the season.
It was impressive to see him get back so quickly, but the thumb was not 100 percent. It appears he is making progress to getting his thumb back to completely healthy. Colbert offered this tweet on Sunday.
Ayyye I can finally snap my fingers again— AC (@AdrianColbert25) January 7, 2018
I suppose snapping fingers is not quite the biggest deal in the world, but we can at least use it to know he is making some progress back. He looked great after the injury, so it’s not a huge deal, but it’s some good news!
