Chiefs-Broncos closes out the week with Monday Night Football

The NFL closes out Week 4 with an AFC West showdown that could result in a huge point total. The Denver Broncos host the Kansas City Chiefs, with kickoff set for 5:15 p.m. PT on ESPN. Joe Tessitore and Jason Witten will call the game from the booth, with Booger McFarland serving as an analyst from the field. Lisa Salters continues her duties as the sideline reporter.

The Chiefs offense is playing insane football this season, on pace for some record-setting numbers. Patrick Mahomes is on fire and along with Jared Goff is an early front-runner for MVP. The Broncos have struggled to figure out their quarterback situation, but their defense has kept them in things to date. They sit a game back of the Chiefs, but this is make-or-break for them as far as the division is concerned.

Kansas City comes in as a 3.5 point favorite, according to sportsbooks monitored by Odds Shark. This marks the first time they have been favored at Mile High since 2010, and only the second time dating back to 1991, according to the OddsShark database. The SuperContest line for this game was Broncos +5, and I took Denver. I would probably still take Denver at +3.5, so I’m fine sticking with my Sunday morning pick.
