Packers tackle situation is problematic while Aaron Rodgers returns to practice

The Packers had some good and bad news on Friday.

The San Francisco 49ers have started their second practice of Week 6, while in Wisconsin, the Green Bay Packers wrapped up their Friday session. As expected, quarterback Aaron Rodgers and tight end Jimmy Graham both returned to practice after sitting out on Thursday. Rodgers said he had a setback on Sunday against the Detroit Lions, but barring anything unexpected, he’ll be playing Monday. The only change might be using a bigger knee brace.

The big news for Green Bay was the addition of two offensive tackles to the injury report. Starting right tackle Bryan Bulaga was added to the report on Friday as limited with a knee injury. Additionally, swing tackle Jason Spriggs suffered an ankle injury and was listed as limited. Spriggs was carted off with the injury, which does not bode well for him.

Wide receivers Randall Cobb and Geronimo Allison both were listed as limited due to hamstring injuries. Cobb has missed two games with his hamstring injury and said on Friday, “Just hoping to continue to make progress. We’ll see on Sunday what that means when we get there. It’s a daily process for me right now.” The 49ers and Packers have their final formal practices of the week on Saturday, and then a Sunday walkthrough before Monday’s game.

Here’s the Packers full injury report.
