We’re back for Week 7 football. The Arizona Cardinals host the Denver Broncos on Thursday Night Football in an inter-conference matchup that does not exactly whet the appetite. The game kicks off at 5:20 p.m. PT on NFL Network, with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman in the booth, and Erin Andrews and Kristina Pink on the sideline. The Broncos are a one-point favorite, according to sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark. This was a rather odd line early in the week. Most sportsbooks opened with the Broncos a 1.5 point favorite, but you could find several pick ‘ems, and even some that had the Cardinals as a one-point favorite. The line climbed in some places to Broncos -2, but as kickoff approaches, Denver is roughly a one-point favorite. A majority of money is on the Broncos for the time being.
I’m not taking this game in the SuperContest, but I would probably take the points. It’s a matchup of two bad teams, and if that’s the case, I’ll take the home underdog most every time.
