Saints-Vikings closes out the day with Sunday Night Football

We’re back to close out today with Week 8 Sunday Night Football. The Minnesota Vikings host the New Orleans Saints at U.S. Bank Stadium, with kickoff set for 5:20 p.m. PT on NBC. Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth are calling the game from the booth, and Michele Tafoya is handling sideline duties.

This should be a fun one between two high scoring NFC playoff contenders. The Vikings lead the NFC North with a 4-2-1 record, while the Saints have a half game lead on the Carolina Panthers in the NFC South with a 5-1 record. The Saints have climbed to a 2.5-point favorite, according to sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark. I took the Vikings in the SuperContest as a pick ‘em, so I would also take them as 2.5-point underdogs. That being said, seeing this kind of movement is a wee bit concerning.
