Live updates from Kyle Shanahan’s Week 5 Monday wrap-up press conference

New, comments

The 49ers have an extra day of rest to get ready for Week 6 Monday Night Football against the Packers. In the meantime, Kyle Shanahan is meeting with the media to wrap up an ugly Week 5 loss.

A week removed from a tough but competitive loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, the San Francisco 49ers lost an ugly one in Week 5 to the Arizona Cardinals. Five turnovers, penalties, and drops by the pass catchers cost the team in a big way. The defense did solid enough work most of the day, but those turnovers in particular cost the team in the 28-18 loss.

It was a home game, so the team was able to enjoy their own beds on Sunday. There will be an adjusted schedule this week due to Monday Night Football, but head coach Kyle Shanahan will have his normal Monday press conference to wrap up the week. He will meet with the media at 4 p.m. PT to discuss the game and what’s next.

The 49ers will stream the press conferences Twitter, Facebook, and the team’s app. The 49ers beat writers will also have updates from the media sessions. I’ve embedded our beat writer Twitter list so you can follow along. We’ll have a transcript later tonight.
